Notes to get started
- To simplify working through the details of the demo, there is no authentication in the application yet. When we work out the details, the IT staff will have logins and only they will be able to click on the Admin link at the top of the page. Everyone else will only be able to submit reports.
- This site and data are hosted in Malaysia. Performance is a little slow for me but I'm thinking that's due to geographic distance. I'm hoping it will be OK for you, but let me know if it's seems slow to you.
- Start by clicking Submit a Report and submit a report. You can just make up the data - we will wipe it out and start fresh before rolling this out to all the pastors.
- You will need to select Synod before any Presbytery options appear. You will need to select Presbytery before any Pastor options appear. You will only be able to select a month that has been "opened" for reports. (More on that later.)
- Next, click Admin at the top and then choose Manage Reports. Click Details on the row for May 2026. You'll see the reports that have been submitted here. (I've already entered a few.) Click View Report or PDF to see all of the details.
- Notice there is are Export All to PDF and Export All to Excel links at the top. These will export all submitted reports for this month to 1 PDF or Excel file.
- Go back to the Report list (or click Admin, then Manager Reports) and you will be able Open New Month for Reports. Only open months appear in the drop-down for month in the Submit Report screen. To close a month, click Edit and you will be able check the Closed checkbox there.
